Istari Systems Ltd is a developer of Supply Chain Management systems, specialising in labelling and tracking of product from the sorting equipment or manufacturing machinery through to palletisation, storage and subsequent shipping.  A comprehensive suite of post harvest management tools for use in pack house applications are operating in NZ and Australian sites.  Istari provides the premier hardware solution for label printing in kiwifruit in NZ and
has installed labelling solutions into Australia using both arrays of network
printers and in-line applicators. 

The company has a solid history in automation and control projects and has a strong background with these projects beyond the horticultural industry.  Istari software is running in many large companies in New Zealand and Australia, including key players in the fishing, meat and dairy industries as well as other food and beverage manufacturing facilities and a national postal agency.

Istari has Preferred Partner Status with global hardware supplier Intermec Technologies Ltd – this alliance will allow Istari to implement plans to utilise the knowledge gained in the kiwifruit market in other industry and manufacturing applications that require flexible, programmable printing of labels on demand and that will benefit from systems based around the unique capabilities of Intermec’s thermal printer range.
